Who we are

The Federal Government has constituted the National Commission on the Rights of Child in exercise of powers conferred by Section 3(1) of the National Commission on the Rights of Child Act, 2017.

Message From Chairperson

Our children are our future and the National Commission on the Rights of Child is committed to provide an enabling environment for children to enjoy their rights with dignity. As per its mandate, the National Commission on the Rights of Child will continue to monitor situations and developments on child rights to propose required actions to safeguard children from abuse, exploitation, violence and neglect. I strongly urge that the Policy makers, government institutions, parents and other civil society actors must converge their efforts to ensure that each child has equal opportunity to enjoy his/her rights and exploit optimum potential in an atmosphere of love, harmony and security.
